Fabimilk nutrition LGI
is a closely controlled high tech product.
All
products are in conformity with EU regulations.
Fabimilk nutrition LGI
is a balanced nutritional milk beverage, with a vanilla flavour.
This beverage can be consumed as a snack or for breakfast. It has
been formulated for people concerned with their weight control, by
limiting increase in glycemia (blood glucose level). It adheres to
the nutritional recommendations for the whole of the population,
especially for people with diabetes.
Distribution of Caloric
Intakes
Currently, in order to
limit the risks of obesity, cardiovascular diseases and diabetes,
it is recognised that caloric intakes of daily food have to be
between:
10 and 20% proteins
30 and 35% lipids
40 and 60% carbohydrates.
Our Fabimilk nutrition
LGI
product, based on milk ingredients, adheres totally to this caloric
distribution.
Lipidic Components
For people with diabetes,
the cardiovascular diseases risk
is two to four times higher than for the general population.
Saturated fatty acid should therefore provide under 10% total energy
because of their role in cardiovascular diseases and obesity.
Polyunsaturated fatty acids should not exceed 10% of total daily
energy. This restriction on intake of polyunsaturated fatty acid
is based upon the lipid oxidation and the production of peroxides,
compounds potentially harmful. The mono-unsaturated fatty acids
should usually provide between 10% and 20% total energy.
Fabimilk nutrition LGI
provides only vegetable fat, rapeseed oil rich in mono and
poly-unsaturated fatty acid and palm oil, and follows all these
recommendations.

Carbohydrates with a Low Glycemic Index
After a food intake,
glycemia increases. Glycemic index measures the importance and
speed of glucose increase in blood after a food intake.
Intake of low glycemic index food improves the postprandial
glycemia, improves the lipid profile (decreases the blood
triglycerides, LDL cholesterol) and prevents cardiovascular
diseases.
The Fabimilk nutrition
LGI
beverage doesn’t contain any carbohydrates with high glycemic index.
The only added carbohydrates are lactose, a carbohydrate with
medium glycemic index and fructose, a carbohydrate with low
glycemic index.

Fibers
The population’s diet
is very often low in fibers. However, these vegetable compounds,
with low calories, are recommended by all the nutritionists: they
improve digestion transit and help to decrease the total glycemic
index of a meal.
That’s why our Fabimilk nutrition
LGI product is rich in
insulin and fibers with lots of health benefits.
Vitamins and Minerals
A balanced intake of vitamins and minerals assures good
health. Thus, Fabimilk nutrition LGI contains all the vitamins and minerals essential to
the good performance of our body.
